Wintegra partners with Entuple
Bangalore, India, 13-April-2010, Wintegra, a leading provider of access processing
semiconductors and software for next generation telecommunication
infrastructure solutions has entered into a partnership with Entuple
appointing them as its representatives in the Indian Subcontinent. The
partnership would leverage the technical expertise and market
knowledge of Entuple and the global experience of Wintegra whose
solutions are used by many of the leading equipment manufacturers
worldwide.
Wintegra offers silicon and software solutions focused on the access
infrastructure. Wintegra's WinPathTMproduct solutions allow equipment
operators to migrate from ATM cells to IP packets without jeopardizing
current revenue, investment, or technology, while also minimizing
cost, time-to-market, power requirements, and footprint. The
multi-protocol functionality and interworking features tailored to the
needs of access networking equipment bring greater affordability,
flexibility, and performance to such equipment as cellular and WiMAX
base stations, media gateways, access multiplexors, DSLAMs,
Multi-Service Access Devices, and access routers. Wintegra provides
extensive software support with its over 60 protocols available. This
software is available for free with WinPath devices, with no NRE or
royalties.This code is factory and customer hardened, not examples.
Wintegra now
has two generations of software compatible silicon families. The
original WinPath1 devices are available, plus new WinPath2 devices,
offering up to twice the performance with enhanced I/O connectivity.
There is also market specific silicon availabe for target markets,
like the WinArrow family for DSL systems. There are additional product
families for WiMAX solutions as well as an IP only family, known as
WinIP.
Wintegra offers reference boards featuring our processors to provide a
platform for software development while customer's systems are being
implemented. These high-performance boards are also excellent hardware
reference systems to demonstrate expected performance for a wide range
of customer applications. A large selection of add-on cards provides
flexibilty to demonstrate numerous applications. |
